Physics in the Bathroom Part #2: Friction in the Shower

So I was panicking today about what I should do for my physics blog! I was initially going to do the elevator example, however my apartment is only 4 stories tall, so the elevator example wouldn't have worked so well. I've decided to continue my "Physics in the Bathroom" series. Here is an example of how friction is applicable in the bathroom. I slide my shower curtain across the bar that holds it in place. There is very little friction between the bar and the hooks holding the curtain, allowing the shower curtain to slide easily. Here is a VERY short video about me pulling the shower curtain.

~Cheers!
